About Our PAC

The Show Me Conservation PAC was formed for a simple reason: no corporate angle, no hidden agenda – just a love of the outdoors and the belief that this cause needs an advocate in Jefferson City. We’re here to remind legislators that rivers, forests, and prairies don’t have lobbyists.

Someone must speak up for them – and that someone is us.

In Missouri there are hundreds of Political Action Committees (PACs), each dedicated to advocating for a specific cause. These groups exist to carry their sponsor’s messages to legislators and elected officials – those who set policies and write laws affecting the interests these PACs represent.

Missouri’s conservation system is the envy of the nation. Our Department of Conservation is famously non-partisan (imagine that!), and our State Parks are consistently ranked among the best in America. These organizations were built by generations of advocates who thought beyond their own lifetimes. Our job is to make sure today’s policymakers don’t undo that legacy with the stroke of a pen.

There are always two sides to every story. Our side just happens to have cleaner air and water, healthier forests, and more places to hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors.
